In terms of keeping your strap in place, this is an improvement upon the glove leather lining of the padded and premium straps. The adhesive is repositionable as described, but think of this more as the ability to adjust the pad so it is centered appropriately; swapping one pad between straps is certainly possible but for convenience you’ll really want one liner for each strap and also I don’t know how many total swaps are available (in dusty environments, your milage will vary). The liner also adds a bit more padding. My main problem is when you roll up the strap to stick it back into your case between uses; the adhesive in the liner buckles away from the padding, and in the long term, I think that will invite more lint, dust, and eventual failure of the adhesive. I’d really prefer the inside of the premium and padded straps to be entirely the suede texture of this liner rather than the glove leather. But until then, if you find the glove leather lining of your favorite strap lets your instrument slip from your preferred position, this is a simple, pretty effective fix.
